• 2003Enter the Chinese market

    The Toniolo family, present in different aspects of the stone industry for 3 generations and in the machine manufacturing industry since 1986, decided in 2003 to found AitalMAC with the aim to enter the Chinese market, an aim impossible to reach with Italian production costs.
  • 2004 The first plant in Gao Chun was completed

    In 2004 the family, that is Toniolo Romeo and his two sons, moved to China after the construction of the first plant in Gao Chun (Nanjing) was completed. AitalMAC’s objective since its establishment is to manufacture a high quality product with a reasonable price; this vision enables the company to quickly become an internationally recognized leader in the stone industry and other business as well.
  • 2005-2009Invests in research and development

    In the meantime AitalMAC invests in research and development, making in 2005 its first low footprint 3 phase motor, in 2006 starts the mass-production of CNC controllers with Japanese processors. In 2007 starts the manufacture of gearboxes and worm gear jacks, in 2008 AitalMAC expands its electronic components production with the addition of servo drives for AC brushless motors.
  • 2010patents one of his products at china

    In 2010, the family decides to use its know-how to develop its own machines and enter the international market under the AitalMAC name, closing all construction contracts for third parties.
    The same year AitalMAC patents one of his products, the electric spindle for edge polishers. This patent is the first of a long series that are still filed to this day.
  • 2011The newly founded company: Aitek

    In 2011 the R&D and manufacture are divided. The machines manufacture is carried forward by AitalMAC while the R&D is passed on to the newly founded company: Aitek.
  • 2014the CNC controller based on UNIX developed by Aitek

    In 2014 AitalMAC is recognized as a software developer, having received a governmental certificate, AitalMAC becomes a full-fledged software house capable of certificating its own software.
    In the same year AitalMAC certifies the CNC controller based on UNIX developed by Aitek, a technology that allows simultaneous interpolation of 9 axis with kinematic modules.
  • 2015 Obtain a number of patents

    In 2015 AitalMAC files the patent for the tool wear compensation which is used in the CNC to always achieve a perfect finish.
    Also during the same year AitalMAC files other patents, including the design of both the BK and MST series.
    The constant evolution takes AitalMAC to patent the system for the manufacture of diamond tools with 3D printers.
  • 2016Orbit A5 Bridge Saw

    In 2016 AitalMAC start the manufacture of CNC controllers on ARM processors.Production of the Orbit A5 Bridge Saw begins

    The single head edge polisher Luca 88 in production since 1988 by now technically obsolete is revised, and gives birth to the EPR3500 (Edge Polisher Robot).

    • AitalMAC new plant is in operation. New building of 3250 square meters (35000 square feet) 14 meter tall (46 feet), with two 5 Ton cranes, one 10 Ton and one 20 Ton capacity crane, will streamline AitalMAC production capacity, enabling faster delivery times, better engineering facility, more research and development space, and a new 400 square meter (4300 square feet) presentation hall for AitalMAC’s latest production models and fully automated smart stone factory.

  • 2021WJ5 5 axis waterjet

    • Aitalmac spindles. Updating the entire production of spindles to class Y3 has brought significant improvements in performance and efficiency. In particular:
      1.Improved efficiency: The efficiency of the new spindles has been improved by over 20%, meaning these motors convert a higher percentage of input energy into useful mechanical energy.
      2.Increased torque: Despite the size remaining the same, the level of force or torque delivered by the motors has been increased. This could result in a greater capacity for torque application for various applications.

    • Aitalmac commenced the production of wastewater clarification systems resulting from stone processing, known as WTP (Water Treatment Plant). This machine clarifies in real-time with a 90% energy savings. Thanks to CNC flow control logic, both flocculants and coagulants are reduced by over 90% compared to the old system.
    • Commencement of production of the 411 vertical edge polisher of small dimensions, suitable for backsplash that traditional machines either cannot work on or struggle with.
